Marcell Mezriczky is a deepfake researcher and PhD candidate. Since 2019, he has been researching AI-generated synthetic media. His doctoral dissertation focuses on the relationship between the deepfake phenomenon and the crisis of personal identity, with particular emphasis on crisis communication and the protection of digital authenticity. Alongside his academic work, he serves as a Media Specialist at One Hungary, where he works on digital communication, media effectiveness, and data-driven decision-making on a daily basis. His research and professional experience therefore both relate closely to the impact of artificial intelligence on media and society. His goal is to contribute to professional and public dialogue by promoting the responsible use of deepfake technology, while raising awareness of its potential risks.
