Róbert Láng began his career in the private sector before moving into public administration. As a consultant, he directed the development of the executive information systems of the National Healthcare Service Center and later the National Hospital Directorate General. From 2020, he served for four years as the professional lead of the Central Hospital Integrated Management System, and since From november 2024 to april 2026 he has been Ministerial Commissioner for the Health Industry and Health Tourism at the Ministry for National Economy. In his current position, he supports the Minister for National Economy in preparing health policy proposals, shaping strategic directions for the health industry, and implementing related action plans. His work focuses in particular on the management of healthcare data assets and the review of procurement practices related to healthcare. He is also responsible for examining healthcare financing issues and is a member of the Healthcare Financing Working Group.
