Richárd László earned his degree in economics and joined Toyota’s Hungarian national distributor in 2000, almost at the very start of his career. After holding various sales and marketing positions, he went on to serve as mid-level manager for marketing communications, and later as Sales and Marketing Director at the company. In 2014, he took part in establishing the regional Central European headquarters of the Toyota and Lexus brands, where he has served as Country Director responsible for Hungary since 2015. Since 2025, he has been Managing Director. Under his leadership, Toyota has continued to strengthen its market position and has been the market-leading brand in Hungary since 2022, while Lexus has become one of the key players in the premium segment. He sees the secret of this success in the importer’s conscious brand-building efforts, as well as in the excellent cooperation and continuous development of the dealer and service network.
