He works on the enterprise-level implementation of generative artificial intelligence at MBH Bank, from strategy development and portfolio management to actual execution.

In his presentation last year, he compared his own role to the narrow middle of an hourglass: he needs to understand the technology in enough depth that, at executive level, no one really wants to hear about it anymore, while also representing business expectations in a way that does not require explaining them at bit level. A large part of his work is about ensuring that senior management, business areas and the technology side all understand the same thing when referring to a given AI solution. This is usually harder than the technology itself, because apparently human alignment remains the final boss.

In a bank, this also includes the question of return on investment. Nearly four years after ChatGPT’s breakthrough, AI spending can no longer be justified simply by saying that the organization is “running pilots.” His experience covers the implementation and scaling of both general-purpose AI tools and custom solutions, with a particular focus on education and capability development. He believes that AI delivers business results when colleagues themselves are able to create value with it, not simply because an organization keeps “innovating” continuously.
