Péter Varga

managing director
NEOX smart solution

He has worked in the technology sector for more than 30 years, gaining leadership experience across multiple industries and continents. Throughout his career, he has worked in the oil and gas, financial services, hospitality, and retail sectors, primarily in roles where technology was not an end in itself, but a means of providing effective solutions to business and operational challenges. His international projects have included several iconic developments, among them Marina Bay Sands and The Parisian Macao. Later, as Development Director and Managing Director, he oversaw the MOL Campus project from its inception through to completion. He currently serves as Managing Director of NEOX Smart Solutions, where he focuses on the development of intelligent buildings, digital operations solutions, and user-centric building experiences. Through NEOX, he is involved in several landmark developments in Hungary, including the new headquarters of MBH Bank, projects at Budapest Airport, and developments at Széchenyi István University. He firmly believes that today it is no longer enough to simply design and operate buildings; it is equally important to understand how people use them, how they can support more efficient ways of working, and how operating costs and environmental impact can be reduced at the same time. As we spend a significant part of our lives inside buildings, he sees intelligent buildings not primarily as a technological issue, but as a matter of people, business, and sustainability all at once.
