Dr. Pál Novák

Dr. Pál Novák is a legal professional, qualified through the Hungarian Bar Examination, Assistant Professor, and Head of the Department of Quality Development and Regulations at the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Pécs. He holds a PhD in Law, and his teaching and research focus on health law, ethics, bioethics, the legal aspects of esports, and innovative teaching methodologies in higher education. In recent years, he has specialized in the application of gamification in higher education, with a particular emphasis on enhancing student motivation, engagement, and the overall learning experience. In recognition of his innovative educational approach and outstanding contribution to teaching, he was awarded the Golden Lectern Award in 2026. In addition to his academic work, he is the host of the "Így élünk" podcast, where he interviews leading experts and public figures on topics related to science, healthcare, technology, and society. Through both his teaching and public engagement, he combines legal, ethical, and educational perspectives to explore how is it possible in the age of artificial intelligence and digital innovation to support more inspiring, human-centered learning environments.
