Between 2007 and 2008, he worked in the financial institutions practice of IFUA Horváth & Partners, an international consulting firm, and in the second half of 2008 he completed a professional traineeship abroad, also in the financial sector. From 2009, he joined the Central Bank of Hungary (Magyar Nemzeti Bank, MNB), and in 2013 he became Deputy Head of the Financial Regulation Department at the Ministry of National Economy, where he coordinated, among other tasks, the preparation of the new Credit Institutions Act. In 2014, he was appointed Head of the Macroprudential Policy Department of the central bank, where he oversaw the design and introduction of Hungary’s comprehensive macroprudential toolkit. From 2017, he served as Director in the MNB’s Macroprudential Directorate, and from 2019 he headed the MNB’s Directorate for Digitalization. Since August 2024, he has been Director of International Business Development at HOLD Asset Management. Since 2009, he has been a regular speaker at professional forums, as well as university and student association courses. He graduated from Corvinus University of Budapest in 2009 and obtained his PhD there in 2023. From 2024, he has been serving as Associate Professor at Budapest Metropolitan University, where he also leads the university’s Institute for FinTech, AI, and Digitalization.
