Nándor Fodor, DSc agricultural researcher, director of the Agricultural Institute of the Agricultural Research Centre. He studied at ELTE and the University of Debrecen, obtaining his PhD in 2003 and his doctorate from the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in 2024. He began his career at the Soil Science and Agrochemistry Research Institute of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, then worked as a visiting professor at the University of Leeds. His research areas include agrometeorology, simulation system modeling, climate change, and soil science. He is the developer of the 4M simulation model and the MV-WG weather generator, leader of numerous domestic and international projects, and author of more than 300 scientific publications. His work has been recognized with several awards, including the Hungarian and International Quality Innovation Awards.
