István Nagy is an experienced Data Science Manager who leverages innovative Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions to create tangible business value, actively contributing to the data-driven transformation of companies. He currently leads a team of Data Scientists whose work consistently delivers measurable business impact and return on investment (ROI). His expertise enables him to harness the full potential of data platforms and cloud architectures (GCP, AWS), developing state-of-the-art solutions. He is credited with designing an MLOps framework that significantly accelerated the deployment of machine learning models, ensuring their fast and effective integration into business processes. Alongside his leadership role, he pays special attention to AI governance and regulatory compliance. He contributed to the development of his company’s responsible AI framework and ethical code, ensuring transparency, safety, and alignment with the EU AI Act. In addition, he teaches at the University of Szeged, where he introduces students to the practical application of theoretical foundations through real-world business use cases.
