Tibor Kovács has been a key figure in the Hungarian media industry for nearly 25 years. He is the Managing Director of the media company Ringier Hungary, President of the Hungarian Publishers’ Association and of MATESZ (Hungarian Circulation Audit Bureau), and a Supervisory Board member of WAN-IFRA. As the Managing Director of the Hungarian subsidiary of the Swiss-based Ringier Group, he and his team manage an extensive digital and print media portfolio. Ringier Hungary publishes some of the country’s most well-known, high-reach titles, including the news portal Blikk.hu and the daily newspaper Blikk, Glamour magazine, Kiskegyed weekly and its online edition Kiskegyed.hu, EgészségKalauz.hu, AutoBild Hungary magazine, Tvr-hét, and numerous other TV listings magazines.
