Dr. Ferenc Petruska is a professional military officer, lieutenant colonel, associate professor, and the Vice-Dean for International Affairs at the Faculty of Military Science and Officer Training of the University of Public Service (Hungary). He also serves as the Head of the Department of Defence Law and Administration. His research areas include academic data science, autonomous weapon systems (AWS), lawfare, the domestic use of armed forces, veteran care, and the legal regulation of religious practice. In addition, he teaches military law, the law of occupation, defence law, and defence administration. As the President of the Zrínyi Defence Sports Association, he also has extensive practical experience in the field of sports law.
