Dr. György Eigner

Dr. György Eigner obtained his B.Sc. degree in mechatronics engineering in 2011 from the Bánki Donát Faculty of Mechanical and Safety Engineering at Óbuda University, followed by an M.Sc. degree in health engineering in 2013 from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics . He obtained his doctoral degree in 2017 at Óbuda University. Dr. György Eigner is the dean of the János Neumann Faculty of Informatics, associate professor at the Institute of Biomatics and Applied Artificial Intelligence, and professional director of the Zsámbék Science and Innovation Park Nonprofit Ltd. Since spring 2025, he has been the rector's representative responsible for artificial intelligence at Óbuda University. His main areas of research are the application of advanced control methods in physiological contexts, biomedical engineering, human-in-the-loop systems, and artificial intelligence-based cybermedical systems. He has published more than 200 scientific publications on these topics, with an H-index of 11. He is a senior member of the IEEE, co-editor of Acta Polytechnica Hungarica, and a member of several professional committees . In 2019, he won the Young Researcher of the Year award from Óbuda University and is an active participant in Hungarian scientific public life and innovation initiatives. He is committed to education and the development of future industrial technologies.
