Tamás Kozsik

Dr. Tamás Kozsik is the dean of the Faculty of Informatics at Eötvös Loránd University and an associate professor. During his career in higher education management, he has played a key role in shaping educational programs, strengthening research excellence, and developing institutional collaborations. He took over the leadership of the faculty in 2022, having previously served as vice dean responsible for innovation, projects, and international affairs for more than a decade. He is the head of the bachelor's program in Computer Science and the head of the master's program in Software Technology. He is the chair of the Professional Committee on Computer Science of the National Council of Scientific Student Associations. He is a member of the Committee on Computer Science and Information Technology of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.

His areas of teaching and research include programming languages, software technology, parallel, concurrent and distributed programming, and quantum computing technologies. He has participated in or led numerous domestic and international research projects in the past and present, including Thematic research collaborations laying the foundations for innovative IT and ICT solutions (EFOP-3.6.2), National Laboratory for Quantum Informatics, Protection of Security-Critical National Services and Industrial Infrastructures with Cybersecurity, Technological and Regulatory Tools (TKP2021-NVA-29), QUANTERA, and QCIHungary projects.
