Dr. Gábor Csató has been the Director General of the Hungarian National Ambulance Service (OMSZ) since 2017. He earned his medical degree in Debrecen in 2007 and became a board-certified anesthesiologist and intensive care specialist in 2013. In 2017, he completed a degree in healthcare management, and this year he successfully defended his PhD dissertation, earning his doctoral title. He is credited with leading the modernization of OMSZ: in recent years, a comprehensive business intelligence system has been developed to cover the entire emergency response process, predictive modeling in dispatching has been launched, and the integration of data-driven operations into daily practice has begun. In his presentation, he will share OMSZ’s long-term vision and insights from current AI-based developments.
