His professional career began in 2000, when he joined Ericsson Hungary Ltd., initially working as a strategic business consultant, later engaging in the development and management of system integration and mobile banking projects. He then became responsible for the sales of multimedia products in Hungary and Macedonia. In 2008, he was appointed Marketing and Communications Director, and later Deputy CEO. From 2013, he served as Managing Director of Ericsson Hungary Ltd., a company employing 2,000 people, including 1,600 R&D staff. In 2018, he became Strategic Director for Ericsson’s Central European region, covering eight countries. Throughout his corporate career, he has played a leading role in introducing numerous technological innovations (3G, 4G, 5G) in Hungary, promoting cutting-edge research and development (Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Edge Computing, Cloud Technology, XR), and strengthening the company’s partnerships with universities. He holds leadership roles in several professional and social organizations: CEO of the HUN-REN Hungarian Research Network. Chairman of the Artificial Intelligence Coalition, comprising 420 organizations and involving over 1,000 experts, where he played an active role in the development of Hungary’s Artificial Intelligence Strategy. Chairman of the Hungarian European Business Council (HEBC), which brings together the top executives of the Hungarian subsidiaries of 15 European industrial companies. Since 2013, he has led the preparation of the HEBC’s annual reports as its Chairman. Chairman of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Hungary. Chairman of the Friends of BME Association, supporting the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Founding Vice President of the Alliance for the Engineers of the Future, a voluntary organization uniting Hungary’s leading industrial and technology companies to jointly represent and protect the interests of the engineering profession and promote its future development. Board Member of the 5G Coalition, of which he was one of the initiators. Member of the Cooperative Doctoral College. Member of the Professional Advisory Board of the National Laboratories. From 2019 to 2023, member of the National Science Policy Council.
